Only a matter of time

It was bound to happen......Riley got "sick" for the first time. She did it up right too. Full blown ear infection in one ear and the beginning of one in the other. On top of that she picked up a cold. It's soooo sad to hear her wheezing and coughing. She's a trooper though, if it wasn't for the fountain which used to be her nose and all the coughing you'd never know she was sick. She's on antibiotics right now and hopefully everything will clear up in a few days. I guess we've been extremely fortunate to make it this long without a noticeable illness. I'm sure all that will change once she gets into daycare or school a couple days a week.

What else......well we made it through the holiday season and also got to head up to godfather Bill's house for Will's first b-day.

Will's party was a lot of fun. "Butt" at the end of the evening, right about when Bill, me and the rest of the adults started a hold em game, Miss Riley had catastrophic diaper failure. Yeah, she had poop everywhere. We had to take her straight to Bill and Susan's tub and give her an emergency bath. Pretty interesting and fun. (My pun was funny too huh?)
